Spring Break

So my break hasn't been very exciting. I spent all last week scrapbooking, so my trip to Europe is officially scrapbooked! I have been showing it off so it's been fun. This past weekend I went to a Swarm game, the second to last game before playoffs. The dance team was there, as usual, so we got to see another routine. Also putting on a show during half-time were two olympic trampoline gymnasts. They jumped with skis and snowboards in addition to other trampoline tricks. It was awesome to see! And, best of all, the swarm has a cowbell man! Gotta love cowbells. Anyways, the rest of the weekend wasn't too exciting. This weekend should be though. My sister is having a Lia Sophia party on Friday, and the Annual trash 'n treasure with my mom and sister is saturday. Hopefully I'll get some good bargains at both places. Time to relax some more, cuz I only have a week left of break. Classes start back up again on Monday.

FREEDOM!!!

So guess what everyone?! The semester is over, and I'm free for 2 whole weeks! This is gonna be the longest summer ever (sarcasm). It should be pretty relaxing though, which will be nice. Having 2 weeks of finals can be a little stressful. To celebrate lab partner's bday, a group of us went out to eat at IHOP this past Tuesday. It was awesome! The Dr. Seuss specials are still going on, so yea, I was a nerd and got the mayor's breakfast with WHO cakes (see pic above), and it was aweosme! It was complete with green eggs and ham with hashbrowns. The WHO cakes were the best part. 5 diff sized pancakes were stacked like a tower and covered with mini rainbow chocolate chips. Fruity icing was drizzled all over the stack as well. The whole tower was topped off with a bubble gum flavored dum dum sucker. Sooo yummy! I had a happy tummy all day long because of the awesomely yummy lunch. anyways, now that the semester is over, the plan is to scrapbook all my pics from my Europe trip and catch up on my random events book. I am soo behind! I haven't scrapbooked anything since Halloween, so I am well overdue. Time to get busy!

Underwater Adventures

For my ecology class yesterday, we took a field trip to Underwater Adventures. It was exciting to go for free cuz its about $20 a person now. In addition to all the fish, there was also turtles and other aquatic animals. The fish were pretty exciting. 2 sharks are attempting to mate right now, so that was interesting cuz they have a 2 foot difference in length. After touring the facility like the normal public, we got a behind-the-scenes tour. We saw the kitchen, the procedures room, and were able to go above the tanks. It was an exciting field trip, but its sad to think it was our second-to-last one. The semester is over in 2 weeks. It will be awesome having a break, finally!

EUROPE!!!

Hey everyone! I am sooo sorry it's taken me this long to write! I have been so busy since I got back into the states. Europe was awesome! It started out in Germany: Frankfurt, Rothenberg, Uffenheim, and Munich. We toured each town, visited a couple castles (including Castle Neuschwansten, which influenced Sleeping Beauty's castle), and Dachau Concentration Camp. We then ventured to Italy: Venice and Verona. We took a water taxi from the hotel to Venetian Islands and back. It was awesome! We toured the islands, saw a glass blowing demonstration, and took a gondole ride. We also fed pigeons, and yup, I got pooped on. It was worth it though. Then we went to Austria: Innsbrook. It was just a rest stop, so we were only there for a couple hours. It was still exciting seeing the buildings and getting a break from the bus. The last country we went to was Switzerland: Lucerne. We toured the town, but sadly almost everywhere was closed because it was Good Friday. The only place that was open was the train station, which was good because it was raining outside. The last two days were spent in Heidleberg, back in Germany. We toured the town and saw another castle, which has the worlds largest wine cask. It held 58,000 gallons of wine. It was huge! It made me feel very short haha The trip was awesome, and I will post some of the coolest pics on here so you can see what it was like over there. I am definately going back within the next 10 years.
